Project details
This renovation was carried out for friends of RENOVA, so it needed to go well.
On this job our clients priority was layout changes with cosmetic improvements, but they did want to take the opportunity to make improvements to the buildings comfort levels and efficiency where possible while doing the works. So, to improve comfort levels and energy efficiency we installed new windows with airtight tapes and a new heating system with an air-to-water heat pump. We also reinsulated the attic.
Layout changes have provided an open play kitchen/dining/living area, an improved utility layout, a home office and a better TV room. The front elevation of the house was smartened up by redesigning the entrance canopy, a new entrance threshold, and a redesigned bay window.
All new fittings, fixtures and full decoration make this house like a new home.
Budget and programme went to plan – client happy, friendship with RERNOVA still intact. Successful outcome.
