It was a pleasure dealing with Renvoa.  From the very start, during the initial conversations to the design phase and workshops Renova were always so cognisant of our brief and requirements.  Their knowledge, advice and help was invaluable.

At build stage Lorcan, Eddie and the team did a fantastic job.  The site was always kept neat and tidy.  Everyone was so kind, courteous and considerate – particularly to the other residents on our road, which was hugely important.  The finished job was beyond our expectations – the attention to detail and the finish were second to none.  The fact that the house had also been thoroughly cleaned to the highest standard was so welcome on moving day and made moving home much easier.

So very glad we choose Renova, it was such a positive experience overall – we gave them a house and they gave us back a beautiful home.

Our thanks again to John, Sian, Barbara, Paul, Lorcan and team.

Project Details

This was a great project. The brief was to turn a last generation family home into a next generation family home. Our clients had recently purchased this old house knowing that it needed total renovation, but it was habitable so they were able to move in. This gave them time to consider all their options and ensure that they made the right decisions for them. Almost a year and a half passed from first engagement to the day that we began working on site. In that time we worked together on plans, specifications and the budget. It took almost a year before we had the optimum project plan in place and could sign a contract. Over the following 6 months we submitted the planning application, and carried out our workshops and prepared our construction drawings.

The project began on the agreed start date, it ran to budget and was handed over on time too. This house is brilliant ‘family home’, and it achieved a BER A3 rating when tested at the end. The house has been left ready for solar panels in the future which will further improve the BER rating.
