Project Details

Our clients on this job had lived at this apartment since it was new, being one of original occupants at The Millennium Tower. They loved their home and had previously undertaken a cosmetic renovation. They engaged RENOVA to carry out their second complete overhaul and this time they wanted to upgrade the building fabric as well as doing a cosmetic renovation.

We externally insulated the walls and party walls, we also insulated between the floors where we could. Probably the most significant improvement we made was to eliminate unwanted draughts through various airtightness techniques. We installed a new heating system and a demand controlled ventilation system to circulate air and keep the apartment well ventilated. Due to the large areas of south facing glazing we needed to supplement this ventilation system with a modest air conditioning system for those occasional days when the building overheats. The apartment was entirely rewired and new low energy lighting was installed.

A full suite for fittings and finishes were installed including a significant amount of built in furniture and storage.
